The Wizz Beano Set is a tribute to one of the most iconic tones in electric guitar history — the fiery, saturated voice of Eric Clapton’s Les Paul on the “Beano” album.

Crafted to capture the elusive mojo of Clapton’s lost 1960 Les Paul Standard, this set is based on deep tonal analysis of the album and the rare live recordings that remain. While the original guitar vanished decades ago, Wizz’s take on the tone is as convincing and inspiring as it gets — a bold, expressive voice full of creamy sustain, vocal midrange, and dynamic nuance.

Unlike modern recreations that rely on underpowered Alnico 3 magnets, Wizz opted for fully charged Alnico 5s, resulting in a wider dynamic range and stronger articulation. The Beano Set delivers that unmistakable bite and bloom, while preserving the smooth, harmonically rich character heard on the record.

Whether you're chasing the elusive woman tone or simply want a dynamic, vintage-voiced set of humbuckers with attitude, the Beano Set delivers in spades!
