A High-End Preamp in Pedal Form
The Westerlund ONE is designed as a true extension of your instrument, offering the feel and response of a high-end preamp in pedal form. Whether used as a subtle tone enhancer, a dynamic overdrive, or a powerful boost, the ONE delivers a more balanced, full, and responsive version of your core sound.
At its heart, the ONE features a FET-based analog design that captures a distinctly tube-like feel, with natural compression and harmonic richness. Even when pushed into higher gain settings, it remains articulate and transparent, preserving the character of your guitar while adding depth and dimension.
Three distinct operating modes allow the ONE to cover a wide tonal range. With clipping disengaged (Amp Mode), it acts as a clean, high-headroom preamp. Engaging Soft or Hard clipping, along with Germanium or Silicon diode options, introduces varying levels of saturation, from smooth and dynamic overdrive to more aggressive, compressed textures.
A highly musical 3-band EQ (Treble, Mid, Bass) allows for precise tonal shaping, while the Bright / Dark switch provides quick adjustments to suit different guitars and rigs. The adjustable pre-gain boost works in tandem with the gain stage, offering everything from a subtle lift to full, amp-like saturation and sustain.
With its wide dynamic range, flexible voicing options, and refined response, the Westerlund ONE is built to enhance—not replace—your sound.
