Another toggle lets you select between True Bypass and the original’s Buffered Bypass, which adds clarity.
The left side serves up two different Dumble emulations at the flick of a switch!
The Super Overdrive mode delivers a celebrated mid to high gain overdriven sound full of sweet overtones.
The Steel String Singer voice shines for clean and glassy tones with natural and transparent compression.
The design here reinterprets and streamlines the original’s controls through an Emphasis knob.
This knob affects the presence and the low end of the signal before it hits the drive stage.
The pedal also features a passive series FX loop to connect pedals between the two sections or use them as independent effects.

I use it with a Revv D25 and a TC Electonic's compressor and it can become addictive.
It does take some time to get it dialled in due to all the controls available and it is not a high gain pedal....it just makes the tone sparkle or growl with a strong positive feel.
I also use it in front of my Fractal FM9 and WK Smith modded Fender FR10's and here again it adds just that extra bit of deliciousness to an already yummy tone!
...I am making myself hungry now...

hi all.
i am not a high gain guitar player. i prefer the low to medium gain but with boost. this pedal is no joke. it has a dynamic response, so the softer the cleaner, or harder the more grit. i run an ibanez rg, passive pickups, neck in parallel. i am not a chugger, or a power chord blaster. so the settings i use are low gain but high volume, high tone and max emphasis. the "headroom" again is serious. i run ampless direct into the TONEX and usb/daw for recording. so the high definition and boost are the main elements i am looking for in a pedal.
after years of using other pedals this CTC Unobtanium has such a boosted clarity. the only thing this pedal cant do would be the swedish chainsaw style distortion (well it also hasnt paired well with my accoustic instrument, that is maybe a different topic) though the high gain is still amazing. but that part of the market has hunderds of options, so youre not looking to do that sound, i am guessing, if youre looking at this pedal. But for all the other styles and genres this pedal is the front runner.

I’m quite impressed with this pedal. I am running it through a Supro 1696rt Black Magick Reverb and it sweetens it up nicely. Highly recommend this one.
