From the jangly, ambient tones of New Wave, and Synth Pop to the drenched sounds of Hair Metal, the Sidekick Jr offers a wide array of sounds and algorithms.
The modulation effects and algorithms draw inspiration from iconic 1980s stompboxes.
The Ensemble algorithm delivers warm and gentle modulated chorus tones, while the Dimension algorithm enhances your sound's three-dimensional quality without the typical chorus warble.
The Flanger algorithm takes cues from a classic Flanger pedal set for a slow chorus with a touch of mild feedback for a metallic edge.
When it comes to delays, the Sidekick Jr gives you the option of the sweet sound of a tape echo or the pristine repeats of a 1980s rack unit.
For reverb lovers, there are two algorithm banks.
Bank A features timeless classics like Plate, Spring, and Hall, while Bank B offers 1980s reverb sounds such as Gated, Exciter, and Shimmer.
To maximize flexibility within its compact enclosure, Crazy Tube Circuits came up with a clever switching system.
The Delay and Reverb sections operate independently, allowing you to create unique combinations, and the Modulation can be assigned to either section.
