The Red Ochre Deluxe is their premium Treble Booster. The units in stock were ordered with a NOS Mullard OC71 transistor!
Tuned just a little darker than the original Rangemaster in its brightest position, this booster is designed to add classic drive and snarl to your tone without ear piercing spikes. The pedal is filled with usable tones and works with a variety of guitars, amps and pickups.
The Red Ochre Deluxe features a 3-way rotary tone switch to help you dial-in the perfect amount of bite!
The circuit is loaded with a selection of NOS Philips, Mullard mustard and Mullard tropical fish capacitors, as well as NOS Piher and Allen Bradley resistors. These beauties are all mounted onto a handcrafted turret board.
Van Diemens also uses Alpha potentiometers, Neutrik or Switchcraft jacks and Alpha footswitches.
