Pete Cornish’s twist on the Colorsound Overdriver!

Pete Cornish works with a lot of A-list musicians, but he’s best known for his relationship with David Gilmour.

He started working with Gilmour in 1976, designing integrated pedalboards and circuits for him.

The ST2 was originally designed for Gilmour, an aficionado of the Colosound Overdriver and Power Booster pedals.

The ST2 is Pete Cornish’s spin on those designs, aiming to bring back the best of the original circuits with some extra flavors.

Even if you're not chasing tones from days gone by, with plenty of volume on tap, the Pete Cornish ST2 is a great pedal for pushing a tube amp, adding dynamics, or stacking with other gain pedals.

Like the G2, the ST2 is double-buffered, meaning that bypass mode is always buffered, but the input of the main effect is also buffered.

So when it’s in use, the signal runs through two of Pete’s RF-rejecting buffers. In bypass, it only goes through one.

The ST2 also features an op-amp gain stage at the output, providing more volume as well as a strong low-impedance output when needed. This lets you better align your amp with your guitar output, giving you more control over your core tonality from the start.
