A remarkably versatile take on the Klon-style overdrive

The Wampler Tumnus Deluxe takes the familiar character of the original Tumnus and adds considerably more control, making it one of Wampler's most flexible approaches to the classic Klon-style overdrive.

It delivers the string-to-string clarity, generous headroom and amp-like breakup associated with this style of circuit, but expands on the formula with an active three-band EQ that gives you much greater control over how the pedal interacts with your guitar and amplifier.

Separate Bass, Mid and Treble controls make it possible to fine-tune the low end, shape the characteristic midrange and adjust the amount of top-end presence. Whether you're using the Tumnus Deluxe as an overdrive, pushing an already driven amplifier or stacking it with another pedal, the expanded EQ makes it easy to adapt the sound to different rigs.

A Normal/Hot switch provides two distinct gain ranges. Normal delivers the more familiar lower-gain response, while Hot adds additional gain and aggression when you want to push the circuit further.

The Tumnus Deluxe also gives you a choice between buffered and True Bypass operation. Its high-quality buffer can help maintain signal integrity through larger pedalboards and longer cable runs, while the side-mounted switch lets you select True Bypass when preferred.

With its expanded EQ, selectable gain range and flexible bypass options, the Tumnus Deluxe goes well beyond a straightforward recreation of a classic circuit while retaining the clarity, response and feel that made this style of overdrive so popular.
