The Walrus Mako Series MKII R1 reverb pedal brings a new level of sonic flexibility, combining superb sound quality with an intuitive, screen-based interface.
Designed with six unique reverb modes and upgraded controls, it’s perfect for exploring a broad range of reverb effects, from classic warmth to futuristic textures.
The MKII R1 builds on the original with improved features like a bright display screen and dual encoder knobs, replacing previous switches for more precise control.
Newly added Size and Diffusion settings let you fine-tune each reverb mode, while the dual-function Ducking/Swelling feature allows dynamic control, enhancing either gentle fades or swelling effects.
The redesigned MIDI I/O now uses compact TRS jacks and includes a USB-C port, opening up more flexible connections.
The MKII R1 offers six reverb modes, each delivering a unique character suited to different musical needs.
Spring Mode provides the classic, splashy sound of a vintage spring reverb, ideal for retro tones with plenty of warmth and character.
Hall Mode recreates the expansive acoustics of a concert hall for a natural, immersive feel, perfect for dramatic, spacious effects.
Plate Mode draws from the rich, smooth sound of analog plate reverbs popular in the ‘60s and ‘70s, adding lush reflections to your tone.
For an epic, otherworldly experience, BFR Modes (Big F****** Reverb) delivers vast, enveloping reverb trails, bringing the sound of an arena straight to your board!
Refract Mode introduces glitchy, evolving textures that allow for highly customizable effects; create rhythmic, almost kaleidoscopic delays within your reverb tail.
Finally, Air Mode takes your sound to ethereal heights, layering slow-building, shimmery reverbs with high-octave harmonics—perfect for creating ambient, dreamlike atmospheres.
