Inspired by the coveted 1964 Vox AC30/TB “Treble and Bass Boost” model—an all-time favorite among VOX enthusiasts—this pedal channels the magic that made players like The Edge, Ritchie Blackmore, Jeff Beck, Tom Petty, Keith Richards, Pete Townshend, and The Beatles fall in love with its sound.
The JangleMaster features hand-selected components and a military-grade TRIAD Magnetics "Red Spec" high-reliability audio transformer. This crucial element delivers the authentic, chime-laden tone that defines the AC30!
Drawing inspiration from legends like Rory Gallagher and Brian May, whose treble booster/AC30 setups became iconic, the JangleMaster includes a dedicated Rangemaster Treble Booster for rich, cutting rock tones.
Its Bass and Treble tone stack captures the essence of the original tube amp, offering tight, punchy bass and sparkling upper-midrange “chime” that shines from pristine cleans to saturated overdrive. The attack is crisp, dynamic, and immediate.
The Cut control, placed after the transistor-based Long-Tailed Pair Phase Inverter stage—just like the original amp—functions as a high-cut knob, tailoring the high frequencies and response for use with cabinet simulators or recording interfaces.
Positioned further down your effects chain, the JangleMaster doubles as a true preamp, delivering the nuanced behavior and tonal characteristics that made the AC30/TB a legend!
