The Surfy Industries Surfyman is a characterful preamp that faithfully captures the essence of the legendary Brownface Fender Showman amplifier.
Designed for guitarists who crave the rich, fat tone of a vintage Showman with modern flexibility, the Surfyman delivers amp-like dynamics, a responsive tone stack, and powerful presence control—whether running into an amp, a mixer, or headphones.
Perfect for gigging musicians and vintage tone enthusiasts, the Surfy Industries Surfyman is the ultimate tool for authentic Brownface amp tones—anytime, anywhere!
Building on the concepts of the Blossom Point and SurfyTrem, the Surfyman features the exact tone stack and circuitry of a 6G14 Showman amplifier, offering an organic, touch-sensitive response with incredible tonal versatility.
The Presence control, inspired by the original Showman, lets you fine-tune your treble response, while the Gain, Treble, and Bass controls interact dynamically—just like on the real amp—allowing you to shape everything from smooth cleans to fat, powerful drive tones.
Whether you're plugging into an amp, a PA system, or recording directly, the Surfyman adapts effortlessly.
It features unbalanced and balanced 1/4" outputs for flexible signal routing, along with a built-in headphone preamp for silent practice.
True bypass switching ensures your signal remains pure when the pedal is disengaged.
True to its vintage inspiration, the Surfyman includes Surfy Industries' signature tremolo circuit, offering both Brownface and Blackface-style tremolo modes—adding rich, pulsing depth to your sound!
Housed in a rugged metal chassis with a stylish oxblood grill cloth, the Surfyman is as durable as it is eye-catching. With a 9-18V power range, it integrates easily into any setup. Pair it with a SurfyBear Compact for the ultimate Brownface Showman tone in a portable rig.
