The Strömer Mutroniks Superfuzz is based on the 1970s Shin Ei Companion SF-1 Fuzz.

Get your earplugs ready for this one! The Superfuzz serves up massive, crushing tones.

The original Shin Ei box was made under many guises in the 1970s, but its tone remains unmistakable.

Want Pete Townshend’s Live at Leeds wall-of-guitar? Or, the thicker end of Poison Ivy's sound? Look no further!

To make the original design more versatile, Strömer Mutroniks added an Octave On / Off switch and expanded the range of the Fuzz knob, allowing you to go from overdrive to full-on fuzz.

The Superfuzz uses 6 silicon transistors and a pair of new old stock germanium diodes.

The circuit boards are populated with through hole components in New York.
