Crafted by the brilliant mind behind Seeker, Mike Timpson, this premium clone faithfully recreates the magic of the original.
With a trio of hand-selected NOS Germanium transistors, the MKI Wedge delivers the unmistakable sound that MKI enthusiasts crave.
This classic circuit is the result of extensive research, encapsulating the essence of owning a vintage device.
The MKI Wedge incorporates vintage MKI ToneBender values, faithfully reproducing the beloved squeaky, chirping attack and crunchy sustain that defined the original. It offers everything you'd expect from an MKI and more!
The Attack control allows you to dial in a wide range of fuzz, from open and airy to gated and compressed, with sweet spots aplenty.
You can tell by the MKI Wedge's authentically old-school assembly that this circuit is a true labor of love for Seeker! Components are soldered point-to-point to each other on a phenolic board, utilizing NOS components, shielded wire, Cliff jacks and a Carling footswitch.
Plus, this Electric Mojo limited run includes an additional 'Zonk' switch, opening up a world of expressive Zonk-inspired tones.
