The Sabbadius Rainbow Fuzz BC108C is a loving tribute to the legendary silicon fuzz tones that helped define the late 1960s. Inspired by the sounds of Jimi Hendrix, the Rainbow Fuzz recreates the aggressive attack, singing sustain, and sparkling cleanup that made silicon Fuzz Faces an essential part of his evolving tone.
At the heart of the Rainbow Fuzz are carefully selected Telefunken BC108C silicon transistors, the same transistor type favored by Hendrix during the latter part of his career. Their distinctive character delivers tighter bass response, greater clarity, and a more cutting voice than traditional germanium fuzzes, while preserving the dynamic feel and expressiveness that players expect from a great vintage fuzz.

Built to Work with Wah
Like other Sabbadius fuzz designs, the Rainbow Fuzz features the company's innovative Wah Wah Trick control.
This unique feature helps reduce the harshness and unwanted artifacts that can occur when using a fuzz together with a wah pedal, making the Rainbow Fuzz far easier to integrate into modern pedalboards. Even without a wah in the signal chain, the control can be used to smooth the top end and tame excess fizz, allowing for cleaner and more transparent fuzz tones.
Handcrafted in Argentina using premium components and custom-made potentiometers developed specifically for this circuit, the Rainbow Fuzz combines vintage inspiration with exceptional attention to detail.
