The Sabbadius Love Drops Fuzz is Nico Sabbadin's tribute to one of the most influential fuzz users in history: Jimi Hendrix. But rather than simply recreating a vintage circuit, the Love Drops explores a fascinating question: What kind of fuzz would Hendrix use if he were playing today?
After years of studying Hendrix's tone and performance style, Nico designed a fuzz that captures the warmth, responsiveness, and expressive character associated with vintage germanium circuits while addressing two of their biggest limitations: excessive noise and poor compatibility with wah pedals.
The result is a remarkably musical fuzz that combines vintage soul with modern reliability.

At the heart of the Love Drops is a carefully selected low-noise, low-gain silicon transistor chosen specifically to recreate the smooth clipping, warmth, and touch sensitivity players love about vintage germanium fuzzes.

Built to Work with Wah
One of the most innovative features of the Love Drops is its dedicated Wah Wah Trick control.
Designed specifically to improve the interaction between fuzz and wah pedals, this control helps reduce the unwanted artifacts and harshness that can occur when the two effects are used together. For players not using a wah, it can also be used to smooth the top end and reduce the fizziness of the fuzz, opening the door to cleaner, more transparent sounds.
Handcrafted in Argentina using premium components and custom-made potentiometers developed specifically for this circuit, the Love Drops is a unique fuzz that blends vintage inspiration with thoughtful modern refinements.
