On July 30th 1970, Jimi Hendrix played in front of 400 people in Hawaii.
The Maui Funky-Vibe is Sabbadius’ nod to this amazing performance.
This limited edition gives you access to more extreme speed settings, opening the door to tones heard on Hendrix's Hey Baby (New Rising Sun) track.
The Funky-Vibe painstakingly replicates the sound and vibe of an original 1960s Uni-Vibe.
Sabbadius spent years tracking down the correct components to perfectly recreate this legendary effect.
The Funky-Vibe is filled with rare components (like Matsushita transistors and NOS bulbs)!
Like the original, the Chorus / Vibrato rocker switch selects between classic Hendrix swirl or subtle pitch modulation.
Plus, you can choose between True Bypass switching or "Cancel".
"Cancel" turns off the effect, but keeps your signal going through the Uni-Vibe’s wonderful, warm preamp.
Best of all, the Funky-Vibe runs on the correct voltage for proper vintage tone!
Funky Vibe controls:
Volume : Sets the output volume.
Speed : Sets the effect's speed in either mode.
Intensity : Sets the effect's intensity or depth.
Chorus / Vibrato Switch : Selects between the Chorus or the Vibrato mode.
Cancel Footswitch : Turns off the lamp and allows you to use the pedal as a preamp.
Expression pedal jack : Lets you control the effect's speed with a foot controller.
Power switch : Turns the effect on and allows the current to flow into the circuit.
