Crunchy bitcrusher goodness!

The Bitmap 2 offers fractional bit reduction (essentially creating distortion by reducing audio signal resolution) and sample rate modulation.

Version 2 adds in waveshaping, wavefolding and a window comparator for extreme digital distortion.

Capable of sampling at one to 24 bits and going from warm, analog synth to a caustic 8-bit sound, this effect is perfect for exploring electronic noisescapes.

A drive control handles everything from single coil guitars to synths, with enough gain to sound like an overdriven mixer channel.

Modulation and envelope control create dynamic, responsive distortion and digital artifacts.

A synth-inspired 4-pole lowpass filter rolls off the harsh high frequencies that can be created by the aliasing and artifacts generated from bit reduction.

Like other Red Panda offerings, the Bitmap 2 offers stereo audio input and output via TRS jacks, making it a great candidate for synths and more.

For additional control, an assignable control jack can be used for expression pedals, remote switches for preset and tap tampo management.

The USB port can also be used for MIDI data, and is further useful for updating firmware and editing presets via a computer.

You can save four presets on the pedal itself and up to 127 via MIDI.

Additionally, a web-based editor lets you edit presets and access hidden parameters.
