The Pinstripe Pedals Clean DI V2 is a professional active direct box designed to deliver a clean, transparent signal from your instrument or pedalboard to a mixing console, recording interface or other professional audio equipment.

Designed for acoustic guitar, bass, keyboards and other instruments, the Clean DI V2 combines a high-impedance active input stage with a Jensen line isolation transformer. Its 1 MΩ input impedance prevents passive pickups from being unnecessarily loaded, helping preserve the natural tone, dynamics and frequency response of your instrument.

The updated V2 electronics use an extremely quiet, low-distortion buffer to drive the transformer-coupled XLR output. The circuit operates at unity gain, providing plenty of headroom while keeping the original character of your signal intact. A separate active buffered 1/4" output is also provided, making it easy to send your signal to an amplifier or another piece of equipment while simultaneously feeding the XLR output to front of house.

Rather than relying on phantom power from the mixing console, the Clean DI V2 operates from a standard 9V pedalboard power supply. Internal voltage regulation provides the active circuit with a clean and consistent power source, regardless of the console or venue you're connecting to.

Transformer isolation also provides an important practical advantage on stage and in the studio. The Jensen transformer electrically isolates the XLR output from the rest of your rig, while the Ground Lift switch can help eliminate hum caused by ground loops.

Despite its professional-grade signal path, the Clean DI V2 is considerably smaller than a typical active DI. Its compact enclosure is specifically designed for pedalboard use, making it easy to integrate a high-quality direct output into an existing rig without taking up unnecessary space.
