To celebrate their 45th year designing professional rigs, the Pete Cornish team is proud to present a new design: the GC-1.

The GC-1 is a completely new and unique three stage design which features both hard and soft clipping stages.

The pedal automatically switches between stages as the gain increases and offers the widest gain range of the Pete Cornish line.

With the gain set to minimum, the pedal surfs in the Soft Sustain range found in the SS-2 and SS-3 models.

At low gain settings, you'll find a beautifully smooth and transparent blues crunch.

Increasing the gain takes you through the area of the Cornish G-2 and P-2 models for the classic 1970s cranked up Marshall tone.

You can find some serious rhythm and lead tones here!

At maximum gain, the pedal is harmonically rich, smooth and fat: infinite sustain is accessible with the right guitar/amp combination.

The pedal's powerful EQ is a huge part of the sound, with even small changes giving maximum tonal flexibility to suit any setup.

Equal amounts of Bass, Mid and Treble cut are also available (the neutral position of the three tone controls is 12 o’clock).

The GC-1 responds remarkably to your guitar's volume and has an amazing bottom end retention.

The tone is refined and warm sounding, without ever getting "muddy".

An output Master Volume is included to allow for perfect matching between bypassed and boosted/EQ’d signal level.

There is plenty of output signal headroom available: you won't have any problem overdriving your amp's input!

Pete Cornish's beloved LD1 buffer and radio frequency suppressor is also included, eliminating any tone loss caused by long cable runs.
