The Peace Hill SSS serves up an extremely wide range of tones, thanks to its 3-band EQ, High / Low Filter and 3 mini-switches.
By placing the Peace Hill SSS last in your effects chain and plugging it into your amp's FX Loop, you can get amazing Dumble tones anywhere!
In addition to using it in an FX Loop, the SSS can also be plugged directly in front of an amp for beautiful tube tones.
Using it into the line input of an audio interface also gives you rich, natural tones when recording.
Whether you're at home, practicing with headphone or in the studio, the Peace Hill FX SSS is an amazing tool for beautiful, tube-y tones!
Peace Hill SSS controls
• Gain : Adjusts the input gain to the Clean channel.
• Bright : Adds high frequency to the sound.
• Deep : Lowers the center of gravity of the sound for a deeper tone.
• Rock / Jazz : Changes the overall volume as well as the characteristics of the 3-band EQ.
• 3-band EQ : This is a development of the Fender-type EQ. The effect changes seamlessly with Gain and each mini-switch. Try different combinations.
• Filter : Two types of rotary filter sections, HIGH and LOW, are used to create the unique sound of SSS.
• Master : Adjusts the overall volume. The Master doesn't affect the preamp's tone, allowing you to reproduce tones anywhere.

This preamp is beautiful inside out. The eq controls are precise and effective and the filters are pure magic. You can easily achieve a lot of tones with few tweaks. Bright and deep switches can be a lot in certain settings so you have to be cautious with these. Rock and Jazz switch is exactly that: punch or smooth, your call. And the best part for me, although this is meant for guitar it is AMAZING with bass; the warm and sweetness of the tubes plus the filters makes wonders to your low end. It is a steep investment but totally worth it. Thank you Electric Mojo for make this one easily available for those of us outside Canada!
