The Origin Effects EQ Deluxe brings the unmistakable sound and musicality of the legendary Pultec EQP-1A to your pedalboard. Revered by recording engineers for more than half a century, the original Pultec became famous for its remarkably natural EQ curves, rich valve coloration and its celebrated low-end boost technique. The EQ Deluxe faithfully captures that character while tailoring its frequency ranges for the needs of today's guitarists and bassists.
At its heart is an all-analog, three-band inductive EQ inspired by the original studio unit. Unlike conventional graphic or parametric EQs, the EQ Deluxe shapes your tone with smooth, musical curves that enhance rather than simply correct your sound. Whether you're tightening low frequencies, adding warmth, restoring clarity or helping your instrument sit perfectly in a mix, every adjustment feels natural and highly usable.
Beyond its equalization capabilities, the EQ Deluxe also recreates the subtle harmonic richness of the Pultec's push-pull tube output stage.
