King Tone brings the unmistakable sound of Side A from its celebrated Duellist overdrive to a remarkably compact enclosure with the Soloist Mini. Designed for players who want the tone, feel, and response of the original circuit without sacrificing valuable pedalboard space, the Soloist Mini delivers the same glassy character, smooth breakup, and singing sustain that made the Duellist a favorite among guitarists.
From transparent, amp-like cleans to rich, sustaining overdrive, the Soloist Mini offers an impressive range of tones. Its signature glassy top end and touch-sensitive response make it equally suited to subtle rhythm playing and expressive lead work, with the warmth and natural compression of a great tube amplifier.
Four external controls provide plenty of flexibility. Drive adjusts the amount of gain, Volume sets the output level and can push your amplifier harder, while Tone shapes the high-frequency response. The Body control adds low-midrange warmth and fullness, allowing you to dial in anything from open, articulate tones to thicker, more powerful overdrive sounds.
An internal voicing trimmer offers three distinct settings: Stock, Glass, and Edge. These options let you further tailor the pedal's character, from the familiar Duellist Side A sound to glassier, more cutting textures with added bite and definition.
Built with carefully selected components, high-quality 4558 op-amps, and a laser-engraved control panel, the Soloist Mini brings King Tone's signature overdrive sound to compact pedalboards, travel rigs, and any setup where space is limited but tone remains the priority.
