The Keeley RK2000 brings the iconic DM2000 rack delay into pedal format for the first time, capturing the unmistakable sound behind Trey Anastasio’s famed “Funk Siren” while expanding it into a remarkably versatile modern stereo delay.
Developed with input from Justin Stabler, the RK2000 recreates the character, modulation behavior, and phrase-looping magic of the original unit in a compact, stage-ready format.
At its core is a 12-bit stereo delay with up to 1023 ms of delay time, delivering everything from saturated vintage echoes and slapback textures to looping phrases, dramatic pitch-shifted modulation, and the swirling tape-reel chaos that made the original so revered.
The dedicated Hold and Mod functions sit at the heart of the experience, allowing players to build layered ambient loops, manipulate repeats in real time, and explore textures that go far beyond traditional delay.
The RK2000 goes well beyond vintage recreation, adding a powerful modern control set. A unique Filter control shapes the tonal character of the repeats, while the Input Gain control can push the echoes into tape-like saturation for even more character. Add in stereo operation, tap tempo, selectable subdivisions, presets, MIDI, expression control, remote switching, and ping-pong delay modes, and the RK2000 becomes as much a sound-design tool as a delay.
It can function as a classic delay, phrase looper, chorus, flanger, doubler, or experimental modulation machine, all while retaining the unmistakable personality of the original DM2000.
