J Rockett Audio Designs teamed up with Howard Davis, the mastermind behind the Deluxe Memory Man, to create the Clockwork Echo.
Combining old-school BBD vibe with modern technology (including digitally controlled tap tempo), the Clockwork is a tone chaser’s dream!
Clockwork serves up everything from super-short delays to slap-back echoes and ultra-long delays that can be driven into maddening self-oscillation.
You can even plug in an expression pedal for manipulating delay time and feedback on the fly!
As if that wasn’t enough, Clockwork also includes a footswitchable modulation effect to add subtle warbles or seasick washes to delay tails.
For players looking for a unit that'll handle their aspirations of psychedelic guitar tone, it doesn't get much better this modern update on the Memory Man!
With a maximum delay time of 600ms and self-oscillation if you max out repeats, there's a lot of scope for experimentation.
Like the original Deluxe Memory Man, there is an always on preamp boost that's in place whether the delay is engaged or not.
Unlike the original, which took a 24V power supply, the Clockwork Echo runs on 9V DC and converts the voltage internally!
• True analog bucket brigade delay with expansive delay time range.
• Rock-solid digitally controlled tap tempo lets you lock to a beat.
• Footswitchable modulation with depth and speed controls.
• Optional “always-on” boost juices your signal even when the delay is disengaged.
• Manipulate delay time and feedback controls via an external expression pedal.
• True stereo output for ultra-wide ambient effects.
• Power: 9V DC.
• Current Draw: 100mA.
• Dimensions: 4.75" X 5.25" X1.25".
