The Spirit of the Haze67, Reimagined

The Isle of Tone team has spent years studying, restoring, and comparing some of the rarest vintage fuzz pedals ever made. That passion eventually led to the creation of the original Haze67, one of today's most sought-after boutique fuzz pedals.

The Haze67 MKII takes a different approach.

Rather than recreating the original Haze67 in a smaller enclosure, the MKII was designed from the ground up as a practical, road-ready fuzz that preserves the musical feel and responsiveness players expect from Isle of Tone while introducing a completely new circuit and a host of modern conveniences.

Compact, reliable, and remarkably versatile, the Haze67 MKII delivers everything from glassy cleanup to thick, expressive fuzz while remaining exceptionally stable under changing temperatures and stage conditions.

A New Circuit

Although inspired by the same vintage British fuzzes that influenced the original Haze67, the MKII is not the same circuit.

Instead, the Haze67 MKII features an entirely new hybrid circuit built around carefully matched NOS Mullard silicon and NOS Texas Instruments germanium transistors. This combination delivers the warmth, touch sensitivity, and cleanup of classic germanium fuzzes while greatly improving consistency in changing environments.

Like every Isle of Tone pedal, every transistor pair is individually selected both by measurement and by ear before final assembly.

The result is a fuzz that responds naturally to your guitar's volume control, transitions effortlessly between clean and saturated sounds, and remains musical across its entire gain range.

Built for the Real World

The Haze67 MKII introduces several thoughtful features designed specifically for players who use their pedals every day.

The compact enclosure fits comfortably on modern pedalboards while maintaining Isle of Tone's signature hand-painted finish and attention to detail.

A built-in LED, standard 9V power input, and true on/off battery switch eliminate many of the inconveniences associated with traditional vintage fuzzes.

The pedal also features two independently voiced boost stages.

The first is carefully tuned to integrate naturally into an existing rig, making it easy to move between clean and driven amplifier channels without dramatic volume jumps.

The second provides additional output for solos while preserving the pedal's core character.

Another unique refinement is the redesigned volume circuit, which preserves treble and gain much more effectively as the pedal's controls are rolled back, allowing the Haze67 MKII to remain lively and articulate across a much wider range of settings.

Handmade Without Compromise

Like every Isle of Tone pedal, the Haze67 MKII is assembled entirely by hand using individually matched NOS components.

Each circuit board is hand soldered, every transistor pair is carefully selected, and every enclosure is individually hand painted before final assembly.

The result is a pedal that combines vintage-inspired tone with modern reliability while maintaining the meticulous craftsmanship that has made Isle of Tone one of today's most respected boutique builders.
