The FTelettronica Envelope Follower / Triggered Filter is a sophisticated analog filter inspired by the legendary Lovetone Meatball. Far more than a conventional auto-wah, it combines an exceptionally responsive envelope follower with multiple filter types, four frequency ranges, external triggering and expression control, creating everything from classic funk quack and vocal-like sweeps to rhythmic textures and deeply experimental filtering.

At the heart of the pedal is an envelope follower that responds dynamically to the way you play. Sensitivity determines how easily the filter reacts to your signal, while Decay shapes how the sweep develops over time. The result can be tightly synchronized to your pick attack for sharp, percussive filtering or adjusted for smoother, more fluid movement.

Multiple filter types, including Low Pass, Band Pass and High Pass, dramatically change the character of the effect, while four selectable frequency ranges allow the filter to be matched to different instruments and sounds. This makes the pedal equally capable of deep, rounded sweeps, classic funky filtering, resonant peaks and more extreme synth-like textures.

One of its most powerful features is the integrated effects loop and external triggering capability. Effects such as fuzz, distortion or delay can be placed within the filter's signal path while the envelope continues to respond to the original signal. This allows heavily processed sounds to retain precise, dynamic filter movement and opens up combinations that would be difficult to achieve with a conventional pedal chain.

The Envelope Follower / Triggered Filter can also be controlled with an expression pedal, transforming it into a powerful manual wah while retaining access to its extensive filtering controls. Combined with selectable Up and Down sweeps, this makes it as useful for hands-on expression as it is for automatic, touch-sensitive filtering.
