A deep and experimental take on the legendary Lovetone Flange With No Name

The FTelettronica Anonymous Flange is an extraordinarily deep analog modulation pedal inspired by the legendary Lovetone Flange With No Name. Capable of moving from lush, spacious flanging and chorus to phasing, vibrato, rotary-style effects and wildly experimental textures, it combines an enormous range of sounds with the warm, smooth character associated with classic analog modulation.

At its more restrained settings, the Anonymous Flange delivers rich and dimensional modulation with the depth and movement of a great vintage flanger. Subtle sweeps can add width and animation without overwhelming your original tone, while more pronounced settings move into swirling chorus, phaser-like textures, vibrato and dramatic stereo movement.

Push the controls further and the Anonymous Flange becomes something altogether different. Extreme settings can produce resonant sweeps, pseudo ring modulation, lo-fi textures, unusual spatial effects and sounds that begin to resemble a modular synthesizer more than a conventional guitar pedal. Its enormous range makes it equally suited to classic modulation sounds and completely unconventional sonic experimentation.

The Anonymous Flange becomes even more powerful when used in stereo. Separate Space(D) and Time outputs allow its modulation to spread across two amplifiers or signal paths, creating a much larger sense of movement and dimension than a traditional mono flanger.

An integrated effects loop opens up another layer of experimentation. External effects can be inserted directly into the Anonymous Flange's signal path, allowing delays and other processors to interact with the modulation circuit and create complex sounds that would be difficult to achieve with a conventional pedal chain.

A dedicated CV input also allows an expression pedal to control the effect externally, making it possible to manipulate parameters in real time and treat the Anonymous Flange as an expressive performance tool rather than simply a set-and-forget modulation effect.
