The Midgard's integrated translator begins with a premium low-noise preamp built around Texas Instruments' acclaimed SoundPlus™ op-amp technology before feeding the signal through a vintage-style transformer choke designed to emulate the response of a 1957 Fender Musicmaster neck pickup.
The result is a signal that behaves exactly as a guitar would when interacting with traditional guitar pedals, allowing effects originally designed for passive pickups to respond naturally to keyboards, drum machines, audio interfaces, samplers, and countless other sources.
