The Simplifier Bass Master builds on the legacy of DSM Humboldt’s acclaimed Bass Station, delivering even more versatility, tone shaping, and stage-ready functionality in a compact pedal format. Whether you're laying down tight funk grooves or punishing hard-rock riffs, this fully analog bass preamp puts professional-grade tone at your feet!
At the heart of the Bass Master are three distinct preamp modes—Clean, Comp, and Hot—each offering a unique tonal character. From round and balanced to rich and harmonically complex, these voices can be further dialed in with a 4-band EQ and an intuitive Drive Mode that lets you shape everything from subtle saturation to roaring grit.
To round out your tone, the Bass Master features a comprehensive cabinet simulation section with switchable speaker types (Warm, Bright, Modern), cab size selections (1x15", 4x10", 8x10"), variable porting for low-end control, and tweeter level adjustment for added high-end sparkle.
Designed to integrate effortlessly into any rig, the Bass Master includes both Main and Parallel XLR outputs, two TS outs, a headphone output, and an aux input for silent practice. The dual FX loops—Pre and Main—offer flexible routing options, including the ability to process the preamp and parallel paths independently. A switchable parallel low-pass filter (500Hz, 100Hz, or bypass) lets you fine-tune your signal for clean, defined lows or a full-range tone.
Whether you're recording, gigging, or practicing, the DSM Humboldt Simplifier Bass Master offers a complete, flexible, and powerful solution for modern bass players!
