Closely associated with players like Jimi Hendrix and David Gilmour, the Uni-Vibe is all over late-1960s and early-1970s recordings.
It's one of those memorable and highly addictive effects, up there with fuzz in terms of the character it imparts to songs!
In 2011, Drybell launched the Vibe Machine V1, the smallest photocell-based Vibe pedal on the market at the time.
A few years later, after listening to tons of feedback from customers, the Vibe Machine V2 was born.
This version looked very similar to its predecessor, but was much more complex under the hood.
The Vibe Machine V2 absolutely rocked the Vibe community and received countless awards!
To celebrate their upcoming 10th anniversary, Drybell decided to pull out their Vibe Machine breadboard.
The Drybell team played extensively with the complex opto-system and found a specific setting that sounded out of this world!
This new version sounded so good, they simply couldn't keep it to themselves: enter the Vibe Machine V3.
The Vibe Machine V3 has its own colorful magic going on. The main difference between V3 and V2 is in the modulation EQ.
V2 modulates just a slight part of your main tone, while V3 blends in nicely with your main tone and modulates it without changing the EQ.
V3 also packs a wider modulation and brings you more depth.
The Vibe Machine V3 also features 6 ‘set and forget’ side trimmers: Chorus, Grit, Custom, Sym, Range and Volume.
All these controls come with initial factory settings. To begin playing, you don’t need the manual or to adjust anything, just plug in and enjoy!
Also, the V3 has several functions that are controllable via the DryBell F-1L footswitch (or any other simple footswitch).
With the footswitch, you can engage the Cancel function, Tap Tempo feature, Fast / Slow with adjustable Leslie ramp delay or a Two speed function.
