The Discomfort Designs My Continuing Battle with the Queasy Feels is an experimental stereo multi-modulator designed to blur the lines between chorus, flanging, vibrato and modulated delay. Rather than locking you into a single modulation effect, Queasy Feels gives you the tools to build, reshape and destabilize your own modulation sounds.
At its core is a flexible modulation engine capable of producing everything from familiar chorus and flange textures to pitch-bending vibrato and modulated delays. But where Queasy Feels truly separates itself from conventional modulation pedals is its ability to introduce instability and unpredictability into these effects.
The Melt control bends and deforms the pedal's modulation LFO, transforming regular modulation patterns into increasingly irregular waveforms. Push Melt further and the LFO can even begin skipping entire cycles, introducing quasi-random movement that makes familiar modulation effects feel warped, unstable and constantly evolving.
The Jitter function takes this unpredictability even further by introducing movement to other parameters within the pedal. A three-position switch lets you choose between no Jitter, a little or a lot, allowing you to decide just how unpredictable you want things to become.
Both footswitches also feature momentary functionality. The effect can be engaged momentarily from bypass, while additional hidden functions become available while the pedal is active, opening up even more possibilities for manipulating modulation in real time.
