The Diamond Phase is a modern revival of the original Diamond PSH-1 Phase introduced in 2008. Faithfully re-engineered to preserve the unmistakable analog character of the original while meeting the needs of today's pedalboards, it delivers everything from subtle movement and classic swirling modulation to deep, colorful psychedelic phasing.
At the heart of the Diamond Phase is a fully analog signal path built around six carefully selected and matched JFET transistors. This classic approach produces exceptionally smooth, musical phase shifting with the warmth, depth and clarity that define great analog modulation.
A selectable 2, 4 or 6-stage architecture gives the Phase three distinctly different voices. The 2-stage mode produces light, subtle modulation that's ideal for adding gentle movement and texture. The new 4-stage mode delivers the familiar, balanced sweep of a classic phaser, while the 6-stage mode provides a throatier, more colorful response with deeper notches and greater harmonic complexity for bold, expressive and psychedelic sounds.
Despite its vintage-inspired analog architecture, the Diamond Phase has been completely redesigned for modern pedalboards. Its compact enclosure is approximately half the size of the original PSH-1 and features top-mounted jacks and relay-based True Bypass switching. An internal voltage pump boosts the circuit to 15V for clean, consistent performance while allowing the pedal to operate from a standard 9-15V DC power supply.
From barely perceptible movement to classic swirling phase and deep psychedelic modulation, the Diamond Phase brings the character of the original PSH-1 into a smaller, more versatile pedal designed for today's rigs.
