The Dawner Prince Eclipsa is a highly detailed rotary speaker emulator and preamp inspired by the iconic Yamaha RA-200 system. Unlike traditional Leslie-style designs, the RA-200 used multiple rotating drivers alongside static speakers, creating a more complex, spatially rich modulation. The Eclipsa captures this behavior with precision, delivering a deeply immersive and dynamic rotary experience.
At its core, the Eclipsa recreates the movement and tonal complexity of a multi-speaker rotary cabinet, with independent control over speed, inertia, and virtual microphone distance. From slow, swirling modulation to fast, expressive rotation and brake effects, it responds naturally and musically to your playing.
A built-in preamp inspired by the Alembic F-2B adds warmth, depth, and articulation, allowing the Eclipsa to function not only as a modulation effect but also as a tone-shaping front end for your rig.
The Eclipsa goes beyond traditional rotary pedals with a powerful control set. Dedicated controls for volume, EQ, blend, and brightness let you shape everything from subtle movement to fully immersive cabinet simulation.
The stereo output is derived from multiple virtual microphones, delivering a wide, three-dimensional image that translates beautifully in both studio and live environments.
Designed for today’s pedalboards, the Eclipsa includes full MIDI control, expression compatibility, stereo outputs, and up to 127 presets, making it easy to integrate into both simple and advanced setups.
A magnetic, contactless switching system allows you to toggle between true bypass and buffered preamp modes, ensuring maximum flexibility without compromising signal integrity.
Compact, powerful, and highly expressive, the Eclipsa stands as one of the most advanced rotary speaker emulations available today.
