The DanDrive GOAT is inspired by the legendary Echoplex EP-3 preamp, a circuit that has quietly shaped the sound of countless guitarists for decades. Long appreciated for the way it enhances a guitar's natural voice, the EP-3 preamp adds warmth, clarity and just the right amount of boost without masking the character of your instrument or amplifier.
DanDrive's interpretation faithfully captures the essence of the original while incorporating a few thoughtful refinements for modern pedalboards. The GOAT retains the EP-3's signature low-end roll-off and midrange presence, while introducing a subtle lift in the upper frequencies for added articulation and clarity without harshness.
With up to +10 dB of clean boost and a single Level control, the GOAT is incredibly easy to use. Leave it on as an always-on tone enhancer, use it to push the front end of your amplifier, or place it before overdrive and fuzz pedals to add definition and harmonic richness.
Like every DanDrive pedal, the GOAT is hand built using premium components and housed in a compact enclosure with top-mounted jacks and a classic jewel pilot light. An internally boosted 18V operating voltage provides exceptional headroom, allowing the pedal to remain clear, dynamic and responsive even at higher output levels.
