A deluxe version of the legendary Maestro Echoplex.

The Catalinbread Belle Epoch Deluxe is a user-friendly, digital incarnation that pays homage to the sought after Maestro Echoplex EP-3 tape delay.

The Catalinbread Belle Epoch Deluxe features a modern version of every functional part of the EP-3.

All circuitry is faithfully reproduced and fine-tuned from the original EP-3 specifications (down to its famous preamp).

The only thing missing are the record and playback heads, with a 24-bit high-fidelity digital delay line taking the place of the tape.

All-discrete, through-hole construction with orange drop capacitors, carbon composition resistors, germanium diodes, and other premium parts.

And while Vintage EP-3's required significant maintenance, you won't have to worry about that with the Belle Epoch Deluxe!

 

Introducing the CB Tap!

The CB Tap is Catalinbread's external tap tempo mechanism that was built for the Belle Epoch Deluxe.

It not only adds tap functionality to the Belle Epoch Deluxe, but also connects to anything with a tap-tempo out (excluding Boss pedals).

• Faithful digital re-creation of the original EP-3 Tape delay units.

• Discrete preamp improves your guitar tone from low-volume cleans to saturated fuzz.

• Depth knob for setting the depth of the modulation.

• Record Level control determines how hard the virtual 'tape' is hit.

• Echo Sustain lets you decide how much delay signal to feed back into the delay line.

• Echo Delay controls delay time: set it anywhere within the EP-3's original 80 - 800ms range.

• Expression pedal input for pedal control of delay time, playback volume, filter sweep, or rotary speed.

• True Bypass (Trails mode also available).
