The Swampy is Beanies’ take on the legendary Rangemaster treble booster, delivering focused gain, added clarity, and unmistakable vintage bite. Built around NOS Mullard OC44 germanium transistors and assembled point-to-point using carefully selected vintage and NOS components, it’s designed to push tube amps harder, enhancing upper mids and highs while tightening the low-end response.

Historically, the Rangemaster is closely associated with classic British rock tones, famously used by players such as Eric Clapton, Rory Gallagher, and Brian May.

This compact version keeps things simple with a single potentiometer controlling both output and gain, making it intuitive and easy to dial in.
