The Character knob lets you sweep from smooth, violin-like sustain to sputtery, gated chaos. The Tight switch sculpts the low end for anything from thick, doom-approved riffs to tight, distortion-like fuzz. And with the Chime toggle, you can add extra harmonic sparkle without harshness.
Unlike many fuzz pedals, the Cryptid responds beautifully to your guitar’s volume knob. Roll it back, and you’re rewarded with sparkling cleans—just like a vintage germanium fuzz.
