The Drive Sounds That Defined an Era

The Vemuram Las Lunas is a premium distortion pedal developed over many years to capture the unmistakable drive tones that defined the late 1970s and early 1980s. Rather than recreating a single amplifier or pedal, Las Lunas was designed to evoke the rich, expressive distortion sounds favored by many of the guitar heroes of that era.

From articulate classic rock crunch to singing lead tones, the Las Lunas delivers a remarkably organic feel, combining dynamic response with the rich harmonic complexity that has become a hallmark of Vemuram pedals. Whether you're chasing legendary vintage drive tones or crafting a sound that's entirely your own, Las Lunas provides an exceptionally versatile platform built around natural, amp-like distortion.

Extensive Tone Shaping with a Passive 3-Band EQ

One of the defining features of the Las Lunas is its highly flexible passive three-band EQ, offering a level of tonal control rarely found on a distortion pedal.

The Bass control allows the low end to be tailored to virtually any guitar or amplifier, helping overcome the thin or restricted bass response often associated with distortion pedals.

The Tone control shapes the overall character of the pedal across a broad frequency range centered around the midrange, allowing you to move effortlessly between brighter, more aggressive sounds and warmer, smoother voices.

Finally, the dedicated Treble control fine-tunes the upper frequencies independently, making it easy to add clarity and presence without dramatically altering the lows or midrange.

Together, these controls make the Las Lunas exceptionally adaptable to a wide variety of guitars, amplifiers, and pedalboard setups, allowing you to faithfully recreate the drive sounds of a classic era or develop a voice that's uniquely your own.

Two Distortion Voices, Individually Tunable

Las Lunas features two distinct distortion modes that can be selected using the onboard toggle switch.

Dist A delivers a warm, balanced, and highly detailed distortion with a flatter overall EQ, making it ideal for expressive rhythm work and articulate lead playing.

Dist B offers a sharper, more aggressive voice with increased bite and fullness, making it an excellent choice for heavier classic rock tones and cutting lead sounds.

Internal Saturation trimmers for both modes allow each voice to be individually fine-tuned, giving players even greater control over harmonic content and gain structure.

Handcrafted in Japan using Vemuram's uncompromising construction standards and carefully selected components, including rare NOS parts, the Las Lunas is a sophisticated distortion pedal that combines vintage inspiration with exceptional flexibility and refinement.
