Van Diemens' premium Treble Booster!
Van Diemens Analogue Audio Disruptors is a boutique effect pedal manufacturer based in Tasmania, Australia.
All of their effects are filled with rare, NOS and reclaimed vintage components.
The Red Ochre Deluxe is their premium Treble Booster.
These units were ordered with über rare Mullard CV7003, a military-spec version of the legendary OC44 used in the 1960s Dallas Rangemasters!
The CV7003/OC44 delivers the thick, balanced and wooly tone that remains the standard for Treble Boosters to this day!
Tuned just a little darker than the original Rangemaster in its brightest position, the Red Ochre Deluxe is designed to add classic drive and snarl to your tone without ear piercing spikes. The pedal is filled with usable tones and works with a variety of guitars, amps and pickups.
The Red Ochre Deluxe features a 3-way rotary tone switch to help you dial-in the perfect amount of bite!
The circuit is loaded with a selection of NOS Philips, Mullard mustard and Mullard tropical fish capacitors, as well as NOS Piher and Allen Bradley resistors. These beauties are all mounted onto a handcrafted turret board.
Van Diemens also uses Alpha potentiometers, Neutrik or Switchcraft jacks and Alpha footswitches.
