Classic British Tone, All in One Pedal
The Tsakalis AudioWorks AC Master combines two of the most iconic British circuits of the 1960s into a single pedal: a Vox AC30-style preamp/overdrive and a Range Master-inspired booster.
Designed for players chasing the legendary tones of artists such as Brian May, Rory Gallagher, and The Edge, the AC Master captures the chime, harmonic richness, and dynamic response of a cranked British amplifier while offering the flexibility and convenience of a modern pedal format.
A Complete AC30-Inspired Preamp
At the heart of the AC Master is a fully featured analog preamp inspired by the classic Vox AC30 Top Boost design.
Unlike many "AC-style" pedals, the AC Master recreates both the Normal and Top Boost channels found in vintage AC30 amplifiers, allowing them to be blended together just like jumping the inputs on the original amp. The result is a wide range of tones, from warm, thick edge-of-breakup sounds to bright, articulate British overdrive.
Dedicated Treble, Bass, Tone Cut, and Master Volume controls provide extensive shaping options while preserving the lively feel and harmonic complexity that made these amplifiers famous.
Range Master Boost Included
The second half of the AC Master is a Range Master-inspired booster designed to work equally well on its own or stacked into the AC section.
A dedicated Range control allows you to choose between treble-focused, mid-focused, or fuller-range boosting, making it easy to adapt the pedal to different guitars, amplifiers, and musical styles. Whether you're looking for additional cut, sustain, or saturation, the booster dramatically expands the pedal's tonal range.
Built for Modern Pedalboards
Both sections feature dedicated inputs and outputs, creating an integrated FX loop between the circuits. This unique design allows external effects to be placed between the booster and preamp sections for maximum routing flexibility.
Handmade in Athens, Greece, the AC Master can be used as a standalone British-voiced preamp, a versatile boost and overdrive combination, or a complete foundation for a classic British-inspired rig.
