The ultimate pedalboard amp.

DSM & Humboldt's beloved Simplifier just got a significant upgrade!

The Simplifier mk2 features redesigned preamps, a new Power Amp Drive control, Speaker type knob, Reverb, and a wider gain range.

The onboard Plexi, Blackface and AC30 preamps are even more dynamic, and capable of delivering beautiful edge-of-breakup tones!

The mk2's dedicated Power Amp Drive offers even more fine-tuning, with an upgraded Power Type switch and linear through Drive knob.

Next, a redesigned Cabsim section replaces the Mic position control for a knob that sweeps between 3 speaker profiles.

These can be adjusted for Combo, Twin or Stack voicings.

Best of all, DSM Humboldt made sure to include a Plate Reverb for the perfect amount of room control in your setup!

If you're looking to venture into silent stage rigs or need a compact amp solution, the Simplifier mk2 is a must-have.

A trio of redesigned preamp engines!

The Simplifier mk2 hosts 3 separate preamp options and a 3-band EQ to ensure top-notch voicing in any scenario.

AC Brit : A sweet, sparkling voicing based on the AC30, known for its twinkling cleans and emotive verge-of-breakup grind.

American : Supplies the quacky midrange and chunky bass of a 1960s Fender. Sweet when clean, roars when pushed!

MS Brit : Packs on the glassy gain and forward character of a vintage Plexi stack.

Enhanced stereo cab sim control.

The Simplifier mk2's Combo, Twin, and Stack cab simulation controls are an excellent way to add a tight boost to your signal.

The MIC position control has been replaced with a Speaker control based on the V30, Blue Alnico, and Greenback.

Additionally, 3 separate classic cab types are available in Combo, Twin, and Stack configurations, so you're ready to hit any venue!

Built-in reverb.

Fans asked, and DSM Humboldt delivered!

A dedicated reverb knob provides crisp side-chained plate reverb to add width to your tone.

It's hard to believe that it's real!

I mostly bough it because of analog cabsim. And it's incredible. It works very good for low gain and for high gain. 4x14 sounds like I'm staying near real 4x12 cabinet. Believe me or not but cabsim in this device is better than UAD OX. But UAD OX is (or was now) the best that I heard.
Amp and preamp simulation are very good too. Nothing outstanding but simply excellent. The closest by functionality product is SansAmp devices from Tech 21. While SansAmp is very good device I would say that this one is better. In combination with Revv G4 and G3 I can get any sound that I can imagine. Bassman like, Plexi Like, Mesa Like, ENGL like.
However! If the fact that is very flexible makes it complicated so this device is not for beginners I think. You should know exactly what sound you are going to get you should know how to get it. I mean how to tune equalizer what resonance and presence can give you. How power amp distortion sounds like, how preamp distortion sound like. What can you achieve with 1x12 and with 4x12. And how to use all these things in the mix. I'm not an probably and expert now, but I realize than 7 years ago when I only started my journey through guitar sound I would not understand this device.
I even dissembled it to ensure it's analog and it's is. The only digital part is reverb on FV-1 which is mixed to signal with knob.

I have also have a Strymon Iridium, but this is next level re: tone shaping, sounds incredibly good. A lot more extras too re: FX loop, XLR out, etc.
