Play your amp at max capacity without disturbing the neighbors!

The Tone King Ironman II is a cutting-edge 100W precision-compensated reactive power attenuator.

Its advanced design allows you to decrease the volume level at the speaker, while enabling your amp to operate at its full output power.

The Ironman II preserves every ounce of the tone and feel of your amplifier, for natural power-tube overdrive!

Experience the full potential of your amplifier's power-tube overdrive while retaining every bit of tone and feel!

With 18 distinct attenuation settings, the Ironman II gives you precise control over the output power delivered to your speakers.

The remaining power from your amplifier is dissipated within the Ironman II, ensuring optimal performance.

Unlike any other attenuator!

What sets the Ironman II apart from other attenuators is its tuned reactive load and transformer-coupled power division circuitry.

Unlike simple resistive loads found in other attenuators, the Ironman II's reactive load circuit is based on actual impedance curve measurements taken from real speakers.

This results in a load circuit that faithfully replicates the response of a speaker, preserving the authentic tone and feel of your amplifier!

The power division circuitry in the Ironman II is achieved through 100% transformer coupling using custom audio transformers.

This meticulous design preserves the clarity and responsiveness of your amplifier, avoiding the dull top end and muddy sound associated with resistor ladder-based attenuators.

DI Output.

The new Ironman II features a DI output with an analog speaker cabinet simulation for direct recording.

Tone King has crafted a fantastic sounding output that can be sent to front-of-house or utilized in the studio.

The DI output includes switches for level adjustment, microphone or line inputs, and speaker center or edge micing options, as well as a ground-lift function.

Impedance matching made easy!

Impedance matching is made easy with the Ironman II's dual impedance controls for the amplifier input and speaker output.

You can now match your speaker to your amplifier, even if their impedance differs.

Fine-tune your tone with the Presence switch.

The Presence switch provides subtle control of brightness and compression.

Three settings are provided: 0db (brightest setting), -3db, and -6db (darkest setting).

It allows you to tailor the response to match your acoustic environment, and to correct for an overly bright amplifier.
