Loved for its lush, magnetic-drum-based delays and famously used by Pink Floyd in the '70s, the Echorec's unique tone has captivated players for decades. With the Boonar, its magic is reborn for the 21st century in a compact, road-ready pedal.

Now available in this striking Gold Bar 10th Anniversary Edition, the Boonar combines premium aesthetics with the same powerful circuitry that’s made it a modern classic. The custom gold-finished enclosure is CNC-milled and built to celebrate a decade of innovation.

FET-based inputs add tube-like warmth and grit, while the digital DSP recreates the behavior of the magnetic drum and four playback heads with remarkable accuracy. The result is an echo that’s rich, dimensional, and beautifully musical—or, when you want it to be, wild and unpredictable.

The Boonar offers an impressive level of control to shape your tone exactly how you want it.

With dedicated Volume, Tone, Swell, and Drum Speed knobs, you can dial in everything from subtle ambience to saturated, rhythmic pulses. Its four virtual playback heads can be engaged in any combination, unlocking everything from syncopated repeats to dense, reverb-like textures. A glowing “magic eye” meter on the front panel adds a nostalgic touch, nodding to the original Binson design.

For even deeper sonic sculpting, two internal trimmers allow you to fine-tune the pedal’s behavior. The Input Level control lets you push the repeats into warm saturation or gritty breakup, while the Drum Age trimmer simulates the wear of an aging magnetic drum, softening the tone and introducing rich modulation.
