Vintage Attitude with Texas Bite
Inspired by the pickups in Billy Gibbons’ legendary 1959 Les Paul, the Pearly Gates set brings classic Texas attitude to any humbucker-equipped guitar. These are vintage-output P.A.F.-style pickups with extra midrange energy, lively harmonics and a distinctive growl that cuts through a mix without ever sounding harsh.
The Pearly Gates neck offers warm lows, airy highs and a focused midrange presence that helps leads and rhythms stand out. It stays open and expressive thanks to its Alnico 2 magnet and vintage output design.
The bridge model delivers a bit more output than a typical P.A.F., giving it the extra push and sizzle that made Billy Gibbons’ tone so iconic. It retains a sweet, airy top end while adding a touch of grit and attitude.
Hand built in Santa Barbara, each Pearly Gates pickup uses an Alnico 2 magnet, nickel silver bottom plate, 4-conductor wiring and vacuum wax potting for reliable, squeal-free performance.
