The Marshall Supa Fuzz Prototype, Recreated

The Seeker Custom Shop MKI Supa Fuzz is Mike Timpson's meticulous recreation of the ultra-rare prototype version of the Marshall Supa Fuzz, one of the most elusive British fuzz circuits of the 1960s.

Closely related to the legendary MKI Tone Bender, the prototype Supa Fuzz introduced its own unique voice, combining thick sustain, explosive fuzz textures, chunky compression, and a beautifully textured decay. Favored by players such as Jeff Beck, Pete Townshend, and Steve Hackett, the Supa Fuzz helped define the sound of early British rock and remains one of the most sought-after vintage fuzz circuits ever created.

The Seeker Supa Fuzz faithfully captures that unmistakable character, delivering huge harmonic richness, exceptional note bloom, and the aggressive personality that made the original so inspiring.

Built the Old Way

The Supa Fuzz is meticulously assembled on wide-pitch Vero board using the original 1960s circuit layout and traditional construction techniques.

Our pedals have been ordered with Seeker's British Upgrade option, featuring premium British-made NOS germanium transistors selected from legendary manufacturers such as Mullard, NKT, Brimar, and Texas Instruments, chosen for their exceptional musicality and authentic vintage character.

Each pedal also features NOS capacitors, carbon film resistors, and a faithful silver hammered cast aluminum enclosure fitted with vintage-style Cliff/Marshall knobs and period-correct graphics.

The result is an exceptionally authentic recreation of one of Britain's rarest and most distinctive vintage fuzzes.

Simple Controls, Extraordinary Range

Like the original prototype, the Attack control is permanently set to maximum, allowing the circuit to deliver its full dynamic potential at all times.

The Filter control rolls off high frequencies, making it easy to move from bright, cutting fuzz to thicker, darker vintage tones, while the Volume control provides ample output to push your amplifier.

An internal Bias trimmer adjusts the operating point of the Q2 transistor, allowing you to fine-tune the pedal's texture, harmonic character, and gating response to perfectly suit your rig.
