The most sought after pickups on the market!

The Ron Ellis 50/60 Strat set is one of the most sought after sets on the market.

Designed to take the best from 1950s and 1960s-era sets, these go a step further to create their own classic tone!

Ron Ellis' approach isn’t just per pickup, but within each pickup!

The magnets for the 3 higher strings are Alnico 3, while the lower 3 strings are Alnico 5.

The neck and middle use heavy formvar coated wire, yet the bridge uses plain enamel coated wire.

The result is a pleasing 1960s rounded bass with sweet, non cutting yet still very present highs.

The 50/60s set holds a high gain tone well with great sustain without ever sounding harsh.

The middle position is extremely well matched and useful without either sounding weak.

The Ron Ellis 50/60S is an amazing take on vintage Strat pickups which could possibly be better than the originals!
