The neck is overwound: giving a smooth and thick note compression. The magnets are Alnico 5.
OX4 wind the neck first and match the bridge afterwards: making them nice and balanced.
OX4 pickups are hand wound in the UK and regarded as the very best PAF-style pickups on the market.
Bobbins, baseplates, covers, slugs and keepers are made by OX4 Pickups with vintage correct materials.

What is the PAF sound?
