Sabbadius channels vintage Octavia magic in a compact form!

The Rocktavia was developed in collaboration with guitarist Randy Hansen, world-renowned for his Hendrix tribute performances. Sabbadius began working with Hansen in early 2022 when he became a user of the Tiny-Vibe and Rainbow Fuzz, and later requested this custom Octavia-style fuzz.

Inspired by the original Roger Mayer Octavia, the Rocktavia delivers the unmistakable combination of fuzz and octave-up overtones made famous on classics like Purple Haze, Fire, Little Wing, and Machine Gun. The effect blends an octave above your played note with a gritty fuzz, accentuating natural harmonics for tones that can be subtle, wild, or anywhere in between—depending on your guitar settings, playing dynamics, and the Rocktavia’s controls.

From chewy, vocal leads to raw, unpredictable bursts of harmonic colour, the Rocktavia channels the same spirit heard in the hands of Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Joe Satriani, and Steve Vai. If you’re chasing the Purple Haze tone, this pedal puts it right under your feet.
