Nordvang’s take on the classic TS10 circuit!
With the Mid Air, Nordvang set out to capture the tone and feel of the TS10 side of their beloved Gravity overdrive.
Nordvang took things even further, creating a new pedal platform with stacked PCBs allowing them to squeeze as much tone as possible into a compact enclosure. They even added an independent boost, on top of the pedal’s 5 knobs and 2 toggle switches!
Classic TS10 tones.
The Mid Air’s TS circuit stays true to the beloved TS10, nailing its classic mid pushed tones!
In addition to the standard Drive, Tone, and Level knobs, you’ll find an Air knob.
This controls the cutoff frequency of the overdrive and pushes the classic TS mid-hump to higher frequencies for glassier tones!
If you’re normally not a fan of Tubescreamers, the Air knob will seriously make you reconsider.
On the other end of the spectrum, the Lows toggle switch gives you two additional levels of low-end boost.
Want more? Unscrew the lid and you’ll find a 4-way dipswitch for further tweaking!
Independent Clean Boost.
The boost circuit is pre-drive and can be used independent of the main drive circuit.
It’s a Clean Boost that won’t color or change your tone, simply giving you more of what you already have.
The Boost knob controls the gain of the boost circuit, allowing up to 18dB of boost.
On the front, you’ll also find an EQ toggle switch letting you choose from three different voicings (full frequency, low-mids, high-mids).
