A randomized stutter effect for your glitching and looping adventures!
Most pedals distort, delay, or modulate your guitar's tone in an entirely predictable manner.
The Mini Glitch's randomized stutter effect breaks this trend of predictability by introducing an element of chance!
The Mini Glitch was inspired by the Max/MSP Stutter Patch used by Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead.
It takes a stutter effect (already rare in the pedal world!) and gives you controlled randomization.
You control both when the pedal is active and the length of the stuttering audio.
The Mini Glitch also packs a more conventional mode which can sync stutter effects to a particular tempo (or even function as a quirky looper)!
When set to "Dry Mute", the dry signal will be silenced when glitching is active: mirroring the Max/MSP patch and sounding similar to a broken CD-player.
Alternatively, the gate can be set to pass regardless of glitch activity, which lets you layer your dry signal with the effect.
Three modes to trigger glitches!
Random mode : Starts and stops glitching at random (this mode replicates the Max/MSP patch on which the pedal is based).
Switched mode : Starts glitching when the footswitch is depressed (can be set for either momentary or latching functionality).
Threshold mode : Starts a new glitch each time it receives an input signal over a set threshold.
