Vintage Strat tones with extra punch
The Seymour Duncan Antiquity Strat Texas Hot set delivers the warmth, sparkle and broken-in feel of a well-played vintage Stratocaster, combined with a slightly hotter output for better balance and versatility. These pickups are custom aged both cosmetically and magnetically to recreate the look and tonal character of classic late-50s single coils.
The Antiquity Texas Hot neck pickup offers sweet, bell-like chime with a smooth treble response and a full, musical low end. It retains the openness and articulation that make vintage Strat neck tones so appealing, while providing a touch more body and presence.
The middle pickup is reverse-wound and reverse-polarity, ensuring hum-free performance in the 2 and 4 positions while delivering the classic “quack” and glassy in-between tones players love.
The bridge pickup is wound hotter than the neck and middle to provide better balance across the set. It adds extra midrange punch and clarity so your bridge tone cuts through without losing the organic, vintage character that defines the Antiquity series.
Each pickup uses individually ground Alnico 2 rod magnets, lacquered coils and lamp-black paraffin wax potting, staying true to period-correct construction while ensuring reliable performance.
